Mystery Monday

This past Monday, I received that magical email notifying one when a package is waiting at the post office. The email contains the name of the sender, which I always try not to look at in order to prolong the anticipation, but usually wind up glancing at regardless. Well, that happened, but the only thing on the sender line was "WOO". Hmm. So I go pick up the mystery package, eager to see the return address. The only markings on the medium-to-large-ish sized box were logos from the website woot.com. Now, I know I hadn't bought myself anything off of woot, and I was pretty sure my parents hadn't decided to spontaneously shower me with goodies every day from now until finals are over (although that wouldn't be discouraged...), so I was stumped. I made it down the sidewalk and into the Starbucks line with the package before curiosity bested the roomies and me and I had to open the box. Maybe there was a card inside? Or a note? Or none of that and instead a Snuggie with monkey faces on it? Wha.....? Yes, friends, I anonymously received a monkey Snuggie. And it took me about thirty minutes of figuring before I discovered the sender. What a riot. Oh, yeah, then I might of put it on in the CULC and worn it while studying. And then I might have brought it back to the CULC the next day and worn it while studying. And then I might have continued to wear it while studying every night last week, in the CULC or otherwise. In conclusion, I am a Snuggie convert, and I take back every single time I sneered at the infomercials and barked, "Put on a robe!".

True Life: My mom has the coolest friends ever. My friends have the coolest moms ever. Thanks, Susan!
