upd8

Hello, adoring public. It's been a while. Dying for an update? Here she goes:

My lovely HP fell off of a desk of her own accord and tiny cracks began splintering across her screen, becoming less tiny and a more vivid shade of ink bottle green as time wore on. Eventually it got to where I couldn't watch Netflix and that just doesn't fly. Replacement of the screen was not a cost efficient option, so the search for a new computer was on. I had certain specifications because I am a diva and refuse to deal with Windows 8, which made things a little more difficult. When I finally found and ordered what I thought was and what was advertised as what I wanted, it came with Windows 8. Not what I wanted. So I sent it back. Luckily the dear ol' dad managed to find and order the same thing but actually what I wanted. Thus I now have a graphically competent, Windows 7 computer.

In the mean time I wrote a lot of letters, read a lot of books, played the part of tourist in San Antonio, played the part of tour guide in Tyler, picked up golf, started a yoga habit, almost quit eating sugar, bawled my eyes out while finishing the third season of Sons of Anarchy, was an accomplice in a best friend's engagement, fielded some difficult questions whilst sitting on babies, helped pick the color of some new gutters, thought deep thoughts, and made cut-off shorts.

I'll be sure to get at you with posts on posts from now on.

    Ohhh, so *that's* how the cracks came to be.
    In Spanish, human beings are never responsible for things falling. It's "se cayo" - "it fell". Even if it was dropped.

    "cut-off shorts" == "Tobias Funke".
