read for speed

I read a lot, and I've always been quick at it, but I've never bothered to attempt to pin down a "words per minute" number or anything because that seems like sort of an arbitrary and unnecessary metric. Simply put, my incentive to read fast is to read more, not to have some awesome stats to pull out for party tricks. The other day, though, I stumbled across a test that puts one's reading speed in perspective of how long it would take you to read several popular novels/series - how long would it take you to read Game of Thrones? It's pretty neat, and after getting your results you can adjust the time you would devote to reading per day and see how the numbers change. Try it out when you have a couple of minutes to spare!
