Hello from Russia!
These past few days have been spent around Tomsk, reconnecting with kids from years past and preparing for the upcoming camping trip. We are living in our Russian Mama's flat along with three cats, two of which sleep in my room. Food is being forced upon us, forcing me to quickly learn "no thank you, I'm full" in Russian - a far more important phrase than you might expect. On our first day here we went out to the Extreme Park with some kids from Orphanage No. 4 and played paintball.
Today is our last day in the city before heading out to the camp site. We are taking around 25 kids, almost 50/50 girls and boys. Looking forward to it - and to finally some hot water for showers.
